Joanne Edmond

Today, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a workshop on ‘Building Resilient Foundations – Trauma Informed Practice in Early Childhood’ by Joanne Edmond, the founder of Core of Wellbeing, and a Positive Psychology & Wellbeing Coach.

One particular quote from today’s session really struck a chord with me, and it’s so true:

‘Building the foundations of all that becomes later.’

This powerful concept emphasises the significance of early childhood experiences and how they lay the groundwork for everything that follows. It’s a reminder of the vital role we play in nurturing and supporting young minds during these formative years.

I’m truly inspired by the insights gained today and look forward to applying this newfound knowledge to make a positive impact in the lives of the children and families I work with.

Thank you Joanne Edmond and Nikki (Core of Wellbeing) for such an enlightening session, and to everyone who shared this learning journey with me. Let’s keep building resilient foundations and making a difference!
